Known as Goyan, Fernando Goyan’s work is largely inspired by his love of the sea. He does sometimes also paint inland. His vibrant highly textured oils present a bold and distinctive interpretation of the Spanish coast. The overtones of imagination make the finished work intensely expressive.
Goyan was born in Valencia in 1959 and studied at the San Carlos School. A self-taught painter, he spent is early life perfecting his technique in oil painting.
The artwork is framed in a gentle white frame which compliments the artwork.
